absolutely pointless rant.

Sometimes, things just happen... things that we attribute to seemingly unavoidable circumstances. But on careful scrutiny, a major percentage of them can be traced back to conscious or unconscious choices made by an individual. We treat blame like a bomb with it's fuse lit... just get rid of it as soon as possible.
Politicians are specialists in this field, but us commonfolk are no less guilty. The ease of saying "now we can't take every breath judging their consequences!" is far more tempting than to actually think about it. Well, most people would rather avoid even the thought of thinking and spend their lives thinking how to avoid it! Ahh... golden were the days when people would come up and take some responsibility.
