The World basically runs on 3 concepts: Money, God, and the common Man.
Money is like pie (though many would argue money is far tastier), it's a fact that you can have your pie and eat it too - a definite advantage over certain other food groups. It's also characterized by the fact that you can't just have enough numbers of it. It's almost a madness among pie enthusiasts to see how big numbers they can make of pie. It's ubiquitous, it's everywhere -
known by different names in different countries, the Americans have a peculiar affinity for even the raw stuff, they'll do anything for dough! And as all my foodie friends will agree - a piece of pie can indeed give you happiness - though momentary. Having too much of it generally means you don't get time between the endless commuting from your bed to the loo (some prefer to call it 'home' and 'office'... silly people!). But in the end - the perfect quantity of pie is equally elusive to rich and poor, fat and thin, genius and retard alike.
God... is an imaginary construct that helps people sort out many otherwise intractable problems. Now the theorists would say that the terms real and imaginary are just conventions and mean nothing - bu we know better ;) It so happens that the smallest unit of God is said to be the individual. Anybody - or even i for that matter: i can be called a unit of God... so does that make me imaginary? Hell no! Maybe the theorists have a point there, but i will them bang their heads about it. Well - if you ask them for a simple quantification of i - even the top researchers in the field fail! They even say it remains the same whether you take the negative of i or the positive, and combining i with anything makes it complex! As if we have any less complexity without i as it is. To sum it up - the existence of i, or in a bigger sense, God, is very debatable - but boy it does make life easy!
The common Man is an equally vague thing. As my cockney friends would say: "'e is sumthin' that alluvus refer to... 'e is like the universal standard for oll men but where is 'e exactly? No one knows!". Well, it's like 'e's the base of all things natural. If you want to expand e into definite numbers and characterestics - the terms become infinite as is the case with most human generalizations. It's a strange thing that all of our amazing schemes and products are designed to improve the life of the common Man but then again, 'e is none of us particularly and all of us supposedly. If you try to differentiate or integrate with anybody's power - 'e remains the same! You give any number of us, and 'e can somehow incorporate it into 'imself! And 'e' is also touted to understand the workings of masses but where is 'e'? Here and there but nowhere exactly, an idea that is simultaneously irrational and transcendental, what bull!
Well, these may well be the key of society but all the leaders of society know the real secret of control: If you empower common Man with Money and God, then add unity to the mix... he amounts to absolutely nothing.
Ok fine, if you survived this long and still couldn't make head or tail... I think this will help.
