That feeling,
When the ghost footsteps stop following just before you could turn.
When you know it was there right until you reached for it.
When you look up into the sky and understand there is so much that you would never understand.
When you know it was never yours anyway, but still, but still, but still, it's there.
When you realize that you're living an ersatz life.
That feeling
That vague sense of loss.
I wish there was a word for it.

I think, you can call that feeling, a feeling of emptiness.
It is about the things which are never meant to be. Its best to maybe move on from there...
Such feelings should remain nameless! I liked this post.
@Sakshi, it would have been emptiness were it not so profound. And this is one of the things that moves on before one does. But yes, I agree, when it's emptiness, moving on is imperative.

I guess each one of us are familiar with that feeling...the feeling which leaves us groping in the dark even when our hearts are trying desperately to search for the answer.

Ersatz,Inexplicible things,Unknown feelings,Strange unexplored facts...only causes discomfort.. a strange kind of discomfort...without which life would have been really uninteresting...mystery causes discomfort...but it spices up life at the same time..So its good that we dont have all the answers...Well Done.....you are innovative as usual...
